AN ENCYCLICAL LETTER.
London, June 80.
The Pope has issued an Encyolical Letter, in which he declares that the church will not relax any part of its doctrine or discipline in order to seek, reunion with the Anglican communion. He claims the absolute submission of the faithful to episcopal orders, and denounces a lawless and disorderly crowd as disobedient to St. Peter. Cardinal Vaughan, commenting on the letter, says it dispels ths hazy theories and delusive hopes. , •
