A DISASTROUS TIDAL WAVE.

Farther accounts show that the recent tidal wave which occurred in connection with the earthquakes waa even more disastrous than was revealed by the first tidings. It is now known that 27,000 lives were lost, and some 8000 more people. were injured in one way or another.
