In answer to a question Mr Chamberlain said he desired to divest the inquiry into Dr Jameson's raid of a party charaoter, and he would consult the House in the hope of securing a unanimous agreement upon the form of the inquiry and the terms of reference. . , j The Standard says it is expected the Government will suggest a Royal commission.
