A WOMAN'S PLATFORM. (From Our Own Correspondent. ) Auckland, May 14.
Aoaong the plauks adopted by the Women's D:mocraf.ic Committee are the following: — The education of women in political and economic principles ; to advocate bhe improvement of laws particularly relating to women ; all disabilities of women constituting any difference in the political position or civil rights of men and women should bo removed ; that in the administration of the public service of tie couabty women should be equ&Uy eligible and equally paid with men, having regard always to the physical capacity of the sexes ; that all laws should be based on the principle of absolute equality ia application to men and women ; that tho present system of free, secular, and compulsory education be maintained ; to secure the righb of the electors by a three-fourths majority of those who record their votea to control or abolish fche liquor traffic.
