Messrs Park, Reynolds, and Co. on Saturday ©ffered freehold property, owned by Mr Frank Cargill, situated in Manor place, the terms being cash or 5 percent, bills extending over three years. Tor the section 40ft to Manor place by 90ft to Maitland street £100 was the starting bid, and by tens and fives the offers reached £210, at which figure Mrs Walmsley became the purchaser. The next section, the same size, was token at £140 by Mr Renfrew. Lot 3, a section 78ft by 90ft, with eeveu-roomed house of Baltic deal, was started at £300, and offers of £25 raised the biddings to £425, at which price the lot was passed in, the owner's bid being £500. Lot 4, an unoccupied Eection 40ft by 90ft, was started at £150, and knocked dowa to Mr Pollock at £170. They also xeport having sold privately during the week allotment 3/ Cranmore. Koslyn. to Mr G. Brown for j£?00, and unexpired term of lease of sections 2 arid 3, Baths reserve, Leith street, Dunedin, with larse bouse of 10 rooms, to Mrs S. S. Bannister, at m satisfactory figure ; also several of the Harbour &9Md leases lately subdivided for small building
sites, fronting Crawford and Vogel ktreebs, on the Exhibition site.
Meacra Park, Reynolds, and Co. offered for sale by auction on Monday at their rooms several properties in the city and suburbs. There was a large attandance at the sale, but only the undermentioned properties were disposed of at the following prices i- Section 84, Port Chalmers, fronting Scotia stieet, containing a quarter acre with two-storey dwelling house of eight rooms thereon, Mr Cameron, Port Chalmer», £315 ; part of section 13, Qeoree street, Port Chalmers, with shop and dwelling lately occupied by Mr Bldrr, Mr Cameron, £300 ; part of sections 46 and 48. North-East Valley, containing 9a lr, Mr Fox, Ktag street, £450.
