TAHUNA PARK TROTTING CLUB.

A meeting of the committee of the Tahuna Park Trotting Club held last Thursday was attended by Messrs Myers (chair), Brown, Fleming, Laing, Bremner, Gourley, Brgg, and M 'Donald. Dowira; tola, surgeon, Dr Clogs; steward*, the committee ; sab-e&inaiittees : FiHßßoe— Messrs Short, Begg, Laing, Brown, and M 'Donald ; pvograanne — Mwars Myers, Short, Bogg, Brown, Brenaaer, and Fleming. Mr NioeJ, of luvercargill, wrote offering the use of hie patent starting machine for tha May meeting. The terms were accepted, and it nas deoided to use the machine. It was resolved — "That any owner marring two er mors horses in any race they be bracketed together on the totalisator." It was decided that bookmakers, or any parson, known to lay " tote odds," be not admitted to tho grounds. The secretory reported that the totalisator license for the May meating had beau granted I by the Colonial Secretary, and that it had come I to hand.
