The "tote" difficulty has assumed & new phase. In reply to the Wellington RWng Club, the Colonial Secretary «a.i<i that a p>- rait having been granted to a coivAry olun in Hftwke's Bay only two were left. The Mi tropolitan Club decided to allot these to tha M»sterlon-Opaki and Obaki-Maori Olubs. There ii a possibility of a third license becoming available, in which case the Metropolitan Olnb will ask for it for their July meeting. The May meeting goes by the board.
