BfiUNNERTON, April 25. Yeatarday the toys sent by the Canterbury children were distributed by the nuyor, assisted by several ladies The pleasant smiles on the faces «f the little recipients would have well repaid the little givers oould they h&ve but seen the children laden with toys returning to their mothers. Each child received a book and parcel of toys, whilst those children who-were not sufferers by the diiaster received a small book as a memento of the sad occurrence. A vote of thank* and cheers were given for the Canterbury children for the love, kindnets, and sympathy shown.
