There was a^ood attendance, and business throughout was brisk. Fat C*ttle. A moderate supply of mixed quality. Prime sort* scarce, ani' the Bale lacke . auimation. Prices remain utmlt'-red— 13s to 17s per lOulb for iff erior cow beef, 18s to 20s for prime heifer and other sorts ; steers, £5 17» 6d to £8 12s 6d ; heifers, £4 12s 6d to £7 ; cows, £4 15s to £6 2a 6d. Dairy Cattle. -Good cows, £6 to £7 10s } inferior and aged (hard to quit), £3 to £5. Fat Sheep. -A large entry, and the sale for all prime sort* wa« ie»lly goo<V Prime crossbred wethers bro .jfhr 13s 6rl to 15s 9d ; ruediura do and mixed sexex, 10a to 12s 6d ; heavy-weight crossbred ewes, 10-> to 14s (according to age) ; medium' sorts, 7s to 9i fid; merino wethers, 6s to 8a 6dj ewes, 5a to 8s 64

Pigs.— The yards wero ag«in filled with pfgt, amongst them being .a fa!r proportion of prime fat aotts. Handy-wight bacoae.nj and porkers' brought 3d per 10, heavy weights a ttuide less. Stores were dull at from 3s to os for small loits, up to 12s for large ones.
