Melbourne, September 23. The T»lune, from tho Bluff, reports tempestuous weather, with heavy eea, extending along the Tasmanian coast and causing interference with the shipping. Brisbane, September 18. Heavy rains have fallen over a large area, and there are indications that the drought has broken up. Water was badly needed in Bu'sbane and (-nburbs, and in many instaocos the residents had to purchase water. Mr Wragge announces that another monBooual disturbance appears to be gradually approaching from the Java Sea.
