For some olasses of wool I tho rise ia as muoh as from 2d to 31 per lb I since the beginning of the year. i The active demand at the wool sales continues. Large catalogues were offered to-day, and all were cleared. Yesterday's advance was folly maintained with a hardenirg tendency. September 19. At the wool sales small paresis of superfine combing sold for ls s£d. September 21. During the month's wool sales at Sydney Continental buyers operated most extenBively, particularly Germane. A fair portion was sold to English buyers, while somo ot the best lots went to America. j
