All quotations subject to market fluctuations :— Wheat : Colonial wheats are now quoted lower, owiug to Victorian wheats being laided for less money. We quote best Tv-cans and velvet up to 3s lOd ; red chstff, 3< !W ; seed varieties, up to is 6d; fowls' wlieat, fioin 2s 9<l to ~.U Gd. Oats : Plasier. Prime milling, up to Is lld ; bright short feed, Is lOd to Is lid. Barley : There is inquiry in this line. A few lots are taken up for milling and feed purposes at from Is 9d to 2a 44 ; malting, if priu-e, 2, 9d. Ntlsun hops, 7d to Bd. Potatoes : 30s to 40s. Good northern-grown wanted. Chaff: 65s to 70s for prime quality, well-cut oaten sheaf. Ryegrans : We are kept busy cleaninp, and arc finding biiyeis for the bulk of the lines. M.ichine-dre.-v.d p-r -1.-nial, 3d 6d to Cs; undre?s«d, Email, Miottv ,-eed, 2h Bfl to 3s ; dirty lots, from 2a to is Gd. We have goo I inquiry for clean and uneleaucd seed. C'ockifoot : Samples on application. Values range from 5d to 5Jd for good seed ; farmers' lots, 3id to 4d. Linseed, £9 to £9 10s. We receive rabbitskins, hides, sheep*kinß, and tallow, and return highest market values. Hides wanted, at 2U to 2Jd pcrlb for good quality ; extra heavy up to 3ijd. Nitrate of soda, kainit, basic slag, just landing. We can also supply all other manures sold in Dunedin. Our new seeds are now to hand, and we shall be pleased to tend Bamples and quotations of cloverw, rape, turnip seed, &c. on application, all guaranteed pure and fresh. We have just erected new machinery for clovercleaniDgin ell its branches, and shall be glad, to show our farmer friends the working of it. FRUIT AND PRODUCE REPORT. Fruit : Regular shipments arriving from Taa« mania, Sydney, and the Islands. Quotations on application. Tahiti oranges, D.8., just landed.
