Messrs Thomas Paterson and Co., fruit and produce agents, Manse street, report for the week ending Way 15:— Fruit. Markot barely supplied ; very small lots c <ming forward. Prices are :— Hobart apples : F.C, 8s 6d; S.P., Ss ; S.Pm. and A. Pin., 7s 6d to 9s; S.T.P.. 7s to &. Pears: Napoleons, 7s to 8s G'd ; Winter Nelis, 13s to 14s ; other sort?, 8j to 12s. Locally-grown apple', 4s 6.i to 78; pears, 5s to 10s. Oranges: Island, 7s; Italian (just landed), 20s; Sydney, 6\i. Lemons: Itulian, 255. Bananas. 2d to 2Jd. Peanuts, 3Jd. Tomatoes : Hothouse, Id ; outside, 2Jd. Grapes, 8d to Is. Produce.— Eggs, although very scarce, have falleu iv price. Fresh butter (plentiful), price weaker ; prime salt, 7d to 7id ; factory, B Ho BVd. Bacon, sid to u'J for prime roll. We can supply choice quality, and get up in any quantity. Hams, 7Jd. Pigs (plentiful), 3 1. Cheese : Farmers', 4d to 4Jd ; Ak-trca, Ud ; factory, 4Jd to sd. Honey, 3Jd to 4d. Beeswax, wanted. Potatoes : Derwents, 30s to 40i ; kiineys for seed (inquired for), £2 17s fid to £i. Onions, £5 to £6. Poultry, plentiful and cheap.
