DISAPPEARANCE OF A PASSENGER.

Lyttelton, October 9.

On the arrival of the steamer Flora from Donedin this morning it was found Mrs Taylor, a saloon passenger, was missing. She was going to Christchuroh on a visit to some friends. Her hiub&nd is said to be employed by Meeurs Fprgnsson and Mitchell, at Dunedio. Tbe collector tf customs will hold an i»qniry into the circumstances.

Mrs Taylor (who with her husband and family of four children reside in Grosvenor street, Kensington), having been in indifferent health for the M6t few months, acting on medical advice, decided 'to visit some friends in Christchurch for a change of air. She was in gcoa spirits when ehe left in the Flora, and her disappearance cannot be in any way accounted for by her friends.
