Sir A. Clarke, Acting Agent- general for Victoria, ha 3 received an offer from a responsible Manchester firm to run a" line of five steanoeis between Manchester, Australia, and New Zealand, conveying Manchester goods to the colony and returning with colonial produce. The firm ask if the colonial Governments will co-operate in supporting the line.
