WOOL, GRAIN, AND SEED REPORT.

Messrs William E. Reynolds and Co., Stafford street, report for the week ending 14th February as follows :— From accounts to hand, bad weather is being experienced in all districts — more so north of Dunedin than south. In many districts both seed and wheat crops have been partially destroyed, and threshing has been considerably delayed. We sincerely hope for more settled weather, to allow farmers to get on with their work. Wheat.— This is a-drug upon the market. Very little business is doing, and prices remain low. We quote, as last : Prime milling, 2s lOd ; good, 2s 8d to 2s 9d ; and fowl feed up to 2s 6Jd for best. Oats.— Prices remain steady, owing to the small quantity available. Nearly all offering is being consumed locally, as prices are too high to permit of shipping. We do not expect to-day's priceß will be given for new season's, except at the start, as growers will need to accept figures which will permit of shipping or stores will rapidly fill, as requirements for local use are very limited. We quote to-day : Prime milling and feed. Is lid to Is Hid ; good, bright feed, Is lOJd ; inferior, Is 9d to lslOd. . x , Ryegrass. — This seed is bow coming to hand pretty freely, and good prices are being obtained for clean farmers* dressed. We have already sold a considerable quantity of this season's at quotations given, and we see no chance of any immediate fall, although it may come later, when northern buyers are well supplied. If the wet weather continues it will likely tend, to delay consignments,
