SALE OF CORPORATION LEASES.
Mr D. M. Spedding held a sale of corporation leaseholds at his rooms on Saturday afternoon. There was a fair attendance, but the majority of the lots elicited no offer. The following leases, each for 21 years, were disposed of at the upsets : Quarry reserve, Serpentine avenue : Allotment 9, H. S. Lyders, £8 a year. South Dunedin—Subdivision of section 6, block VII : Allotments 17 and 18, John Fitzpatrick, £1 10s each a year ; allotment 54, John Edie, £1 10s a year ; allotment 66, John Hilbri, £1 10s a year. Tft akari districtSubdivision of sections 1 and 2, block IV : Allotments 51, 52, and 53, L. Wright, £1 10s each a year ; allotment 54, R. Webster, £1 10s a year. Subdivision of sections 8, 9, and 10, and part 53, Wakari : Allotment 11, J. Bunting, £1 10s a year.
