RAILWAY MANAGEMENT.
Oamaru, April 29.
At a meeting of the Agricultural and Pastoral Association to-day the following resolution was unanimously carried :—": — " That while the present management of the railways might be improved, it is the opinion of this meeting that the handing over of the railways to political control would be detrimental to the best interests of the colony, and especially of the farming community."
