WOOL AND SKIN MARKET
Messrs Arthur M'Donald and Co. report as follows for tho week ending May 11. - >
Wool.— Since we had .this pleasure a week ago several lots, principally oddments of station clips, have changed hands at prices fully on a par with those ruling during the season— quality and condition considered. Sheepskins;— Tl\e recent wet weather has considerably reduced the supply of dry skins suitable for export, prices for which are very firm at fully last weeks quotations. Green and wet skins command less attention. Rabbitskins.— Deliveries for the week have been in small compass— probably on account of the wet weather. We have orders at rates much in excess of London equivalent, which leads us to hope that the market has seen its worst, and that a reaction will shortly set in. We quote same pnees as last report.
