Moritzson and Hopkin, millers, grain, produce, and commission agents, Manse street, Dunedin, report (wholesale) for the week ending April 6 as follows :— Wheat : New wheat is offering plentifully. We quote prime samples 4s to 4s 3d, Dunedin terms; and medium, 3s 8d to 3s lOd Fowls' wheat : Good whole, 3s to 3s 3d : broken and inferior, Is lOd to 2s 9d. Barley : Malting, 3s j milling, 2s 3d to 2s 8d ; feed, ]s lOd to 2s 3d. Oats : Milling, Is 6d to Is 6|d ; bright short feed^ Is 6d:- inferior and off colour, Is to Is 4d. We placed some new season's feed at Is fiid. Bian, 60s. Sharps, SOs. Roller flour, Lll ; stone flour, LlO. Oatmeal, L 8 15s to LlO-5 Potatoes : Plenty came forward, and prices receded o?j 2 off* tan - • Pigs: Iv B° od demand, 3Jd to 3Jd for prime quality. Chaff: Prime well-cut oaten sheaf, 60s to 62s 6d ; medium quality, 52s tid to 57s 6d. Straw, oaten and wheaten, 30a. Clover and ryegrass hay 60s Butter: Salt, SJd-at which price we sold several hundred packages. Good keg butter wanted. kggs scarcer and rising. Honey, 4}d for extracted. Cheese : Akaroa— large, 3id to 4d • small, 4Jd ; factory makes— large, 4Jd to 4*d • loaf sizes sd. Hams and bacon ; Hams, 8d ; rolls Oicl to od, sides sjd. Grass seeds : Ryegrass— farmers' lots, 2s to 2s 6d ; machine dressec? 3a to g3g 3 6d ; cocksfoot,.3id to #'■ Itallail ryegrass, 3s 9d to 4s 6d.
