Sales were made up to Is 9d, and although the demand has oooled, tbe position of the ground and the great length of auriferous reef traok driven on, justifies the belief that a sim Par block to that being worked in the No. 2 Keep-It-Dark will be discovered by systematic prospecting The discovery of another Use of quartz lode, carrying rich gold in the Golden Bar lease is cheering news, and has oauied a demand ior the shares. The Gallant is rising on the reef, with every probability of another crushing before Christmas. The. return of 550z oi god from a trial crushing of 118 tons, and the little work required to open this level, is most satisfactory, and the mine augurs we 1 for the future.
