On the 'conclusion of this tournament (which will not be long, judging by the attendance) a "two-life' contest will 'take place for the championship of the club.
The Oamaru club is " booking. The memberibip role contain! over 50 names ithe latest acquisition being Mt T. DUncan, M.H.R , who is an active member, and is reported ai a very good player and an enthusiatt. Our Oamaru correspondent has kindly forwarded a copy of the olnb'srulas. The front gives the names of the executive, &o. ; inside are the rales, 13 in number, and the back is a "member's ticket"— the whole forming a very neat little card. Taking this In conjunction with the flourishing state of the club, the executive are to be complimented on the energy they pisplay, and they certainly deserve tke success with which their labours have so far been rewarded.
