The following letter explains itsalf :—

TO THE EDITOB. Sib,— l write to inform you. that I did not write the letter which appeared in Dot's column of last week's Witness (sth mat.). By inserting this denial you will greatly oblige. — Youra, &c, Mary Habbison. Hindon, March 10. [The MS. has been forwarded to Mibs Harrison, and with such satisfactory results that I trust that in next issue a full and ample apology will be inserted in this column. This will perhaps be a warning to others who bavo caused pain and annoyance by bogus letters which have been forwarded to this column during the past 12 months.
