New Zealand wheat (average) is worth 34» 6d per 4961b. New Zealand long-berried is worth 35» 9d per 4961b. New Zealand wheat, f a.q ,to arrive iron vessel, April-May bill of lading, is worth 34« 6d." Melbourne papers just to hand announce that the Equitable Society has purchased a magnificent block at the corner of Collins and KHzabeth streets at a cost of £345,000. When the contemplated buildings in Sydney and Melbourne are completed, the Bociety will have upwards of £850,000 invested in freehold securities iv Australia.
