RABBITSKIN MARKET.
Messrs Ebmshabdt and Co., manufacturers' agents, Water Btreet, report for the week ending September 18 aB follows : — Prices are keeping firm but unaltered. There have been some exceptionally fine parcels of selected doeskins in the market this week, for which we paid extreme rates ; still, considering the unusually fine classification of these lots, the prices paid for them are on a level with 16d for the ordinary run of good winter greys, buckß and does mixed. Some of the larger stations are in the habit of classing their winter greya into fcwo and three different qualitiei, but the average price obtained for them is the Bame as for ordinary winter lots, and sometimes rather less. Although misleading as the prices of such fancy lots are to the initiated, they serve as a " draw" in some reports and circulars.
