At New Plymouth the Northern cluba met during Easter week, and held a tournament on their own, account. The dubs represented were — New Plymouth, Auckland, Wanganui, and Wellington. Play was to have started on Good. Friday, bud had to be postponed until Monday owing to the wefc weather. The Wellington and Auckland teams were the first to start on Monday, at 8.30. The following are the names of the players : — Auckland — No. 1 Rink; Edwards, Hardie, Miller, Kingswell (skip), 27, played Wellington— Campbell, Blupdell, Crombie, M'Glashan (skip), 15. No. 2 Sink; Payne, Winks, M'Dermott, Oliphant (skip), 23, played Gray, Barraud, Flyger, M'Kerrow (skip), 24.
