From reports ,uppn which we can rely, we gather that the yields from the threshing machines are very encouraging] to f rowers, being fully up to their • expectations, rei'ghts to Australia are abundant at a moderate rate. Wheat ; Prime Tuscan' selling at 4s. f.p.b., with 1 a fairly strong demand. Pearl. and Hunters are not bo brisk at Rs 8d to 3s lOd, according to quality. Whole fowl feed is Bcarce 'at3s 4d to 3s 6d, broken at 2s 9d to 3s 3d. 'Oats : Milling is scarce at 28 8d to 2s 9d, short, feed at,2s 7d to 2a Bd. and long parcels vary from 2s 6d to 2s 9d , the beßt 1 being for Australian seed. Barley is not ' so 1 brisk ; buyers are holding off for lower figures. The best samples, however, are in strong demand at '3s 1 9d ; medium, quality are worth 3s 3d to 3s 6d ■; feed , 2s' 9d. Beans are coming into market at 3»'3d, and ' blue p'eaoo are scarcely ho brisk as last weelc's quotajtibnß.jtibnB. Feed are worth 3s to 3s 2d'. Grass seed has ' still a 'firm ihqury for machine-dressed at 3s 6d, and 'farmers'' parcels at 2s 6d' to, 3s. Dairy, produce : 'Butter is quiet at 8d for prime, and' cheese from3jd 'to 4£d. The above prices are those paid to farmers for delivery t .0.b. ; aacks extra.
