That,6f W. Austin being the lowest was accepted. It was resolved that .tenders be called for 300 yds of good metal for the Main Beach road between -Boss Point;, Broad Bay, and Portobe|lo jetty. Account! to the -amount of-£7O were passed-for payments - Wbatb^b.—We had a week of stormy weather, but the last few days have been fine, enabling the " farmers to get in the last of the oat crop. The late rain has given the turnips another 1 start, so that they will not be so bad as anticipated. The weather has settled again, and there in now every indication of a spell of dry weather. ; 1
