THE NEW ZEALAND EXHIBITION.
■ 4, Melboubne, February 1. Mr Twopeny has arranged for the transfer to Dunedin of the principal exhibits of the Armament Court of the Melbourne Exhibit tion. Most of the British loan collection is obtainable, but the cost would be excessive. Signor Hazon has offered the services of his orchestra of 24 players at a remuneration of £9000, but Mr Twopeny has refused the offer. He has also received an offer of a military band of 36 performers, who will come out for £7000. A few educational exhibits are obtainable, but the collections are broken up by sales. Mr Twopeny is urging the various Australian Governments to whom portions have been given to lend them to the New Zealand Exhibition. February 4. Mr Twopeny, executive commissioner for the New Zealand Exhibition, has obtained a complete Victorian educational exhibit similar to that in the Melbourne Exhibition. He has also secured portion of the French educational exhibit, which was given to the Victorian Government.
