Mobitzsos and Hopkix. Millers, Grain, Produce, and Commission Agents, Manse street, Dunedin, report as follows :— WHOLES ALB BEPOM. Wheat : No further advance has taken place this weak, but prices remain firm, and prime milling sorts are worth from 4b W to 4s 7d; medium, 4s 2d to 4s 4d. .' Fowls' wheat in good demand, and we have realised' for good whole up to 3s lOd ; medium, 3s 4d to 3s &d. Barley : Several shipments have token place at a alight advance. Prime malting, 4s 2d to 4a 6d ; milling, 33 6d to 4s ; pearl barley, £20 per ton ' Oats : The market remains firm, and all coming to hand are easily placed. Prime milling, 4s Id tto 4s 2d; best plump feed. 3» Va to 4s 2d; medium , 3s 6d to 3a Bd. Oats might yet vise, but we should advise holders to take present values.. Flour has again advanced 20s, and we placed 250 tone during Jibe week for Sydney. Timaru roller, $12 5s

Oatmeal : Although quoted at £20 per ton it is scarcely obtainable, but the demand for. local use is not very strong at this time of the year. We had inquiry from Australia, but could not quote in quantities owing to scarcity of oats Bran: £(5 per ton, f.o.b. We placed 450 tons of both at a high figure, f.o.b. Timara, during the week for Sydney and Newcastle. Sharps: £b yer ton. Potatoes : Old Derwents from £7 to £10. We cold newAuokland lapstone kidneys at £18 ; round ones, £12. Pigs : Well fed up to 1801b. 4id.' Chaff -. Heavy oaten sheafe from £5 to £o ss. We have 50 tens for which £5 10s is asked. Straw, oaten and wheaten, 40a. Hay (oaten), and hay, clover and ryegrasa : None to" hand, and not quotable. Butter: Prime salt, 9d to lOd (kegs extra). We placed about 15 tons during the week. Fresh do, very scarce, Kg?s are getting scarcer, and should advise storekeepers not to hoard them up, but send them in freah. Cheese : Old Akaroa (in tins), 6Jd; new now to hand, sJdto 6d. Hams and bacon have advanced. Hams, nj<< ; flitches, 7W ; rolls, 6£d: flitch for ham, prime lots in cloths, 82a. Wo have Bold some 5 Loiwnnd have several lines pending. Honey.- Patent extracted, 4jd. Grass seeds: Little demand. Ryegrass, 2s lo 3s ; cocksfoot, 3d to 4d, and have already several inquiries from Australia for new season's.
