A concert and dance was held in the school on Friday evening, in aid of the school fund, The concert was opened with an overture on the piano, Miss Meeking being the performer. Mr Robertson sang " Juanita" with very good taste. Miss Quertier's 3ong was "Ehron o i!he Rhine." This youug lady wtia rather nervous at tho start, but gained courage as she procteied. Miss Walsh sang " Tit for Tat " very sweetly, and in response to an encore gave the Ust verae over a^iin. MrM'Kay(CJore)e.aig" Never Again "and' Jonuni", Stop the Donkey," which the audience evidently appreciated. Mrs Clement sang " The Lait Rose of Summer " very nicely indeed.
