Octobkb 30.— We have had very high Rales during the past week anil heavy rains also, aud at present the weather Js decidedly wintry. Entertainment.— The Gore Dramatic Club gave an entertainmeut in the Atheujcum Hall on the race night to a pcor house, and ceitainly the entertainment vi as on a par with the attendance.
