OTEPOPO.

August 20. -The weather took up here for three or four days, but rain has set in again, and things at present look about as bad aB ever. There will bo no more wheat sowing here now should the weather come in fine, for the season is getting well adianced, We have not suffered very much from the floods about here, tbe only harm thoraiu has doile.beiug to stop all out-door work. There will be a large area under potatoes this year between this and Oamaru. Unfortunately a "good few lambs are making their appearance. I see very few twins, however, so that they will have a batter chance to live this we,b spring. ! Bunny.— There is not such a thing as a rabbit to be seen about here; boys and dogs are too plentiful, and they keep them pretty well down. I see a good few hares just now, however.
