(Feom Ouh Own Correspondent.) London, December 28. The frozen meat market remains about the same. Transactions have perhaps been a little brisker, though prices have not been affected thereby. The Tainui, from Wellington (September 5), with 30,333 sheep, 459 lambs, and 380 pieces of beef, has sold 30,000 aheep at 3j!d to 4£d, all the lambs at 4£d to s£d, and all tbe beef at 4d to 4§d. The Doric, from Lyttelton (September 30), with 28,933 sheep, 37 lambs, and 535 pieces beef, has cleared at 3d to. 4£d for the sheep, all the lambs at 4d to s£d, and all tbe beef at 3id to 4£d. The Kaikoura, from Wei' lington (October 4), with 19,047 sheep and 165 pieces beef, has sold 18,500 sheep at 3§d to 4JJ and all the beef at 4d to 4£d. The Arawa, from Lyttelton (October 27), with 30,367 sheep and 448 pieces of beef, has sold 26,000 sheep at 3Jd to 4|d and all the beef at 4d to 4£d. The Todgariro, from Port Chalmers (October 31), wiw 14,988 sheep, has sold 8000 at 3bd to 4|d. Ti« Oamaru, from Oamaru (November 21), wits 11,502 sheep, has sold 5000 at 3£d to 3|d. ?b« lonic, from Lyttelton (November 21), with » fair cargo of 29,834 sheep and 188 pieces o beef, has sold 9000 sheep at 3id to 4|d, and aU tbe beef at 4d to 4|d. The Aorangi, from Wei' lington (November 29), with 10,037 sheep m 156 pieces beef, has sold 6200 sheep at 3fd to 4d and 120 pieces of beef at 4d to 4|d. The first series of wool sales for 1888 has been fixed to commence on January 31. The present arrivals number 92,012 bales, made up as follows :--Ne\v Zealand, 7825; New South WaWr 11,791 ; Queensland, 11,761 ; Victoria, 22,593?
