RABBITSKIN MARKET REPORT.

Remshabdt, M'Donald and Co,, manufacturers' agents, Bond street, report as follows : —

We have again the pleasure to report a firm market. During the past, week a large business has been transacted, and we are glad to note a marked improvement in the general get-up of some of our consignments. without exception the most carefully saved lot we have seen this season came to hand on account of Mr Walter Jamieson, of Waikouaiti, who has obtained the highest price paid so far this year in the colony. Skins now being taken show a considerable pulling off in quality. This is particularly noticeable in low-lying districts. We quote and guarantee the following prices free of all charges— viz: —

Full seasoned greys, 18d to 19d; selected thin pelted, 20d to 20|d ; black and fawn, 12d ; autumn and summer, 8d to 15d, according to quality. .Should any of our constituents prefer risking the London market to selling locally we shall be most happy to make liberal advances' against consignments, and pledge ourselves to secure for them the best possible values.
