Wh.-at.— The market during the past week has undergone a mate-ial chani/e, on account of several larg'- paicels offering (aud been sold; from ; he North, and mi'lers deciinit.g to give late qu<>ta:ions on account of the low price for flour and .he nearness of the new crop coming forward. Lat* quotations a c aaked but cannot be g*t now We quot- prime milling velvet and red straw up to 4s 9d ; medium io good, up to 4s 4sd, and in little requett ; iowl feed, 3s tid to 4s, with small demand.
Oats — The market has no animation, and but little business is being done for export ; though it the present dry wea her continues ",in the other colonies, we might possibly have a little inquin nefore the new crop g-ts into market. Loca'ly tho demand is almoa nothii g, green f ed being so "pi ntiful. Late quotations are well miintainen, notv\ ithstandii g r,he dullness of the market. We quote : Prime milling, Is B|d to 1b 9sd ; g od heavy feed, Is 8 1 ; medium, Is 3d to Is 6d, nut small demand.
Barl«y.— Nothing doing in it. Grabs Se'ris.— Advices from intercolonial markets i'ldiente low prices during the coming season, hs there have bewi heavy stocks hHd "ver from last vwi' ; consequently the demand at the opening ot the season will not" be so great as in former 3'ears.
