SALE OF EDUCATION RESERVES

Mr R. B. Martin offered by auction on Tuesday a number of educational reserves in the Strath Tainri and Wyndham districts. Sections 3 and 4, block IX, township of Arden, were sold to Mrs Rich, at the upset of £7 each. Sections 17 and 18, village site at Strath Taieri, containing 8a 2r 32p, were sold to the Presbyterian Church Board at the upset of £10 per acre. Run 161, Wyndham, was passed in. Run ,161 a, Wyndham, 2700 acres, was leased to Messrs J. Reid and Sons, as agents for Mr G. Anderson, at £37 per annum, %•? upset price being £31. Run 162, Wyndham, 27,500 acres, was leased to Mr D. K. Macrae &t the upset of £343 15s per annum.
