The body of stone recently met with on the upper level was driven into to-day, and is reported to be about Bft thick. It is estimated equal to about lOdwt per ton. Globe. — There is no fresh news from the mine to-night, but shares are recovering, sales having been effected to-day up to 18s, and the market is now free of shares. Lord Edward. — This company joins the Big River Extended, and tenders are called today for driving a tunnel 300 ft to open the mine. There appears to be a gradual awakening in respect to this part of the field. Lone Star. — No information has come in from the mine to-day. Reform. — It has been decided to continue the sinking of the north winze, and after going a certain distance a crosscut will be put in to intercept the run of stone touched a day or two ago. Beyond the revival in Globe's there is nothing to excite attention just now ; but the general tone of things is very hearty.
