Nomination, 10s ; acceptance, 10s. About two miles, or six times round. 3. SPRING HANDICAP TIME TROT (in Saddle), of 60sovs ; second horse to receive lOsovs out of the stake. Weight not leas than lOst. The winner of the Maiden Trot to incur a penalty of 15sec. Nomination, laov ; acceptance, Isov. PuHandgo, About three miles, or nine tunes round. 4. NOVEL HAOE HANDICAP TIME TROT (in Saddle), of 30sov8. Weight not less than lOst. The winner of the Maiden Trot or Spring Handicap to incur a penalty of 15sec. LANCASTER PARK HANDICAP TIME TROT * (in Harness), of 50sovs ; second horse to receive ssovs out of tho stake. The winner of tho Maiden Trot, Bpring Handicap, or Novel Race to incur a penalty of 15aec. Nomination, Isov ; acceptance, Isov. About two miles and a-half, or eight times round. 6. HANDICAP TIME PONY TROT (in Saddle), of 15bovb. Height, 14 hauds or under. Ponies to be measured before starting. Weight not less than 9st. Winner of the Pony Trot (in Harness), to incur a penalty of lOsec. Entranoe, 10s ; acceptance, 10s. Pull and go. About two miles, or six times round. N.B,— Tho Lancaster Park Track ia 1720 ft round. All Entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, at the Canterbury Jockey Club Rooms, by 9 p.m. on SATURDAY, October 23, enclosing necessary entrance fees in cash, without which no entry will be taken, and to state the name of the horse, 'age at time of entry, name of owner, and the colours of the rider. Any ."owner Tailing to declare his colours at the tlmo of entry will be fined 28OV8. Any Jockey ridingor driving in wrongcolours will be fined 2aovs. AH horses must be ridden or driven in proper costume, or tho horse will not be allowed to start. Handicaps will appear on Tuesday, November 2. Acceptances close on Friday, Novembers, at 9 p.m., at the CJ.C. Rooms.
