Lake county Afairs.

(From Our Own Correspondent.)

Arrow, August 3.

The late clerk was also threatened that unless he refunded a sum of money, about £95, collected by him as rates, forthwith, legal proceedings for its recovery would be taken. The other proceedings of the council were of an uninteresting nature.
