(Reuter's Telegrams.) London, Juue 22. Ik response to an invitation, the colonial Agents-general and the Executive Commissioners attended at the Indo-Colonial
Exhibition to-day, when Sir P. Cuuliffe Owen, on behalf o£ the Prince of Wales, invited suggestions from the commissioners as to the establishment of a permanent Colonial Museum in London. On the motion of Sir Dillon Bell it was decided to form a committee to consider the matter. Colonial breadstuff's continue to maintain last quotations. Tallow is firm at 25s Gd per cwt for beef, and 27s Gd for mutton of fair average quality. At the wool sales to-day a catalogue of 13,600 bales was submitted. The tone of the market was firm.
June 23. The general elections for the new Parliament will commence on the Ist proximo.
Mr Gladstone has returned to his seat at Hawarden. On his journey he was received with ovations everywhere en route from Edinburgh to Hawarden.
Paris, Juue 23. The bill for the expulsion hf the French Princes has been passed by the Senate.

Earl Kimberley states that the report that Colonel W. Lockhardt and party have been seized by the Badakshaws is incorrect.
Mr Gladstone claims absolute freedom in regard to the Irish land-purchase proposals.
Mr Michael Davitt does not think that the Fenian manifesto is a genuine one.
Mr Graham SBerry advises Lord Rosebery to adopt a policy of exchange, giving the Gambier and the Falkland Islands for the New Hebrides.

The Council of the Royal Colonial Insti tute are urging the Agents-general to support the proposed scheme for a colonial museum.
A sculling match has been arranged between Kemp and Perkins.
