Dunedin Produce Market.
J. H. Kilgoub, grain and produce broker, reports under date Ayril 14 as follows :~ Wheat. — The demand for milling parcels is fairly active at 3s 6a to 3s 7d for white velvet and Tuscan, and 3s id to 3s 5d for red straw. Fowl feed continues 6carce, and may be quoted at 3s to 3s 3d.
Oats — -Supplies are now coming to hand freely, and are rather in excess of tho demand, as prices in. the Australian markets will not admit of shipping, and fis they have a plentiful supply of maizn in the?e markets, 1 do not see any immediate prospect of prices improving. I quote bright 6hort feed at Is lid ; milling, 2s ; ordinnry feed. Is 9d to Is 10d. Barley. — Husinc3B is quiet, and as brewers have not yef 'began to malt for the season, they are holding back until thero is more in the market. Prices are 3s to 3s 3d for malting, and 2s to 2b 6d for feed and milling. Chaff.— There is now more offering, but £3 15s enn etlll bo got for good quality, and £x 7a 6d to £3 10* for ordinary. Potntoes.— (Juiet at £3 15b. Grass Seed — Kycgraas, -Is to 4s 8d ; cocksfoot. 4d Butter.— Prime fresh, lOd ; ealt, fid lo IM. Cheese, 5M to (!d per lb. EWs.— Still etfarce; price to-day, 1b Od.
