ROSLYN.
The nomination of candidates for Roslyn took place at the Roslyn Council Hall at noon on Tuesday, Mr J. Stone acting as returning-officer. Mr Bobbrt TtTRNBdLL proposed and Mr Louis KkeNITZ seconded Archibald flilson Ros9.
Mr William Young Spiers proposed John Bathgate. the late member. Mr John Philp seconded. . A show of hands waa then taken as follows :— Rosa. 20 ; Bathgate, 9.
Mr Bathcjate demanded a poll, which will take place on the 22nd inst.
