(Reuteb's Teleqbams.) Sydney, March 26. In the Legislative Assembly last night a motion was passed to the effect that before any bill for tho constitution of a Federal Council for Australia is passed into law by the Imperial Parliament, such measure must be submitted to the Parliament,of this Colony. Intelligence of serious outrages committed by the natives of New Ireland has reached here. The advices state that the natives burned the Hernchin (sic) Company's trading-station at Noosa, and murdered Captain Moller and all the crew of tho schooner Meokeo. Subsequently the vessel was destroyed by fire. The German corvette Hyena has since visited the scene of the outrage and shelled the native village, killing six of the inhabitants." A sculling match has been arranged with Hanlan for £1000 a Bide, to be rowed on the Nepean River on May 22. Mr Hunt, who arranged tbe match, will nominate either Trickett or Beach as Hanlan's opponent. Albany, March 26.
