Coursing.

Canterbury Coursing Club.

Christchurgh, June 15th.

The second day's coursing of the Canterbury Club was ushered in by fine weather, and capital 3porfc was expected, but the company present were doomed to disappointment, as, owing to the wildness of the hares and the poor beating, only eight courses were got off during the day. The trials were good, and each dog won on his merits. The puppies ran remarkably well, and in most cases did more with their game than the old ones. Only the first rounds of the All-aged Stakes and Puppy Stakes were completed before darkness set in. They will be continued to-morrow.
