% Michie ; a number of selections being rendered by the choir and children, who were also called upon for recitations, making the meeting of a very interesting character. The annual report of the Sunday-school was read, showing the number of children on the roll to be 175, and the average attendance over 130. A tea-meeting and concert were held on Tuesday evening in tho Congregational Church', Moray place, in connection with the Congregational Sunday-school. About 150 persons were present ' at the tea, and fully 200 attended the concert. The Rev. Dr Roseby presided and delivered a practical address on Sunday-school Work. Mr J. Smith (the secretary) read a report, from which it appeared that though the total number of scholars had fallen off, the average attendance was maintained, and the school work had proceeded satisfactorily. During the evening a field-glass was presented to Mr Wm. Coull, the superintendent, and a gold pencil-case to Mr R. Brown, both gentlemen being about to leave the Colony to visit the Mother Country. Several readings and songs were given, and a very pleasant evening was spent.
