OUTRAM ROAD BOARD.

A meeting of the above Board was held on Saturday, 25th- February. Present — Messrs Shandj Allan, and Grant.— A,- tender was'received from Messrs W. 1 - Martin and^Co. for, the fmmation of road, contract 23, for the sum of £335. On the motion of Mr Allan, seconded by Mr Grant, it was resolved — "That [the tender was too high, and that the engineer be' instructed to modify the works and calljfqr fresh tenders, said works not to exceed £2,00' ;, plans to be loft with Mr William Snow, Outram."—lt was resolvod— " That the engineer be instructed to make out plans and specifications for the formation of road between 'Mr Allan's upper steading and Mr Hastie's, with , a pipe culvert across the road." — The surfaceman was instructed to put in a culvert with pipes across the road near Granton. — Accounts amounting to £7 2s 9d were passed for payment.
