Extra stock, implements, &c, not eligible under any of the enumerated classes may be exhibited by paying the usual entrance fees, as in the clasß to which they are most closely allied. Honorary certificates may be awarded, but no prize unless there is competition. 20. All protests must be in writing, and may be entered either before or after the judges have proceeded to their duties. The party entering a protest in horses, cattle, and sheep must deposit 203, and in any other class ss, The deposit will be returned if the protest be sustained. If the protest be lodged before the judges proceed to their duties, the onus of proof will rest with the exhibitor ; if after that, the onus of proof will be with the party protesting. No protest will be received later than one hour after the awards are made and the prizetickets affixed. The Committee will decide all protests as soon as practicable. 21. All prizes not claimed within six months after tho date of the Show will be forfeited. Gates open to the public, 27fch Novembsr, after 12 o'clock, admission, 53 ; on the 28th November, from 9 to 12, admission, 2a 6d ; after that time, Is. The supporters of the Association are reminded that their annual subscriptions are due ; and in order to enable it; to meet the liberal prizes offered, it is respectfully requested that the subscriptions be paid up at an early date, to any member of the Committee, or to the Secretary. In each class of sheep, cattle, and horses, two prizes will be awarded, and where there are more than seven entries in any class, a third prize will be given, one-half the value of the second prize. The largest prize-taker in each class will have the option of getting a piece of plate with an inscription, in lieu of money. Points to count— three for the first prize, two for the second prize, and one for the third prize or highly commended. In the event of ties, the largest number of first prizes to be the winner.
