CURLING.
Another most enjoyable day was spent on the i«> on the 26th by the members of the Curling Club. Play commenced at 8 a.m., and several games were finished during the day. We regret that the record of the "scores" has miscarried, but we Bhali endeavour to give them in our next. The ice was very keen, consequently there were but few "hogs," and "up-cowes" was far more frequently the stentorian cry of the "skip," than "soop him up," " bring him in," and the like. The game played at 10 o'clock resulted as follows :— Stewart (skip) Lathbury (skip) Wright Drysdale Gr».y Cooper Oowio .. .. 12 Joi.es .. .. 16 That curling in Dunedin is an accomplished fact, the most sceptical must now admit, seeing that, for four consecutive days, keenly contested games have been played on the pond all day long, from daylight till dark. We imbjoin result of Friday's play :— YOST OAMK. DrHops Stuart Geo. Young A. M'Diarmid W. Wright J. F. Jones W. 0. Smith (»kip) ..18 A. Stewart (skip) .. 8 SICOXD GAMS. Gray M'Bae A.
