The rates of wages are as follows :— Farm servants, from L 45 to L 52 per annum; tonal© servants, fromLSO to LBS per annum ; f •male oooks, L4O ; harvest man, from 25s to 30s per week and found ; woel-rtowers, 20s per week and found ; nanery-maids, 8s to 10b per week ; bushmen, 20s per week, with rations ; cow-boys, from 8s to 10 per week.
During the last month, the demand for all kinds oi labour, exoept harvest men, hsß b«en rather slack. Good ploughmen and station men are required at 6 or 12 months' engagements j wages, from L4O to L 45 per aanum.
